  • The short answer is no. We do not need to remove the rug from your home. Our cleaning solutions are safe for your flooring, and we do not wet the back of the rug. In rare cases of heavy urine staining, we may need to take the rug to your garage for more of a restorative cleaning. If it is a heavily damaged rug, it may be something we will refer you to someone else.  We will discuss this possibility during our on-site assessment.

  • Wool rugs require specialized cleaning techniques and products to avoid damage. They are denser and more sensitive to moisture, necessitating longer drying times and careful handling. These factors, combined with the need for higher-quality cleaning solutions, contribute to the higher cost of cleaning wool rugs compared to synthetic carpets.

  • Wool rugs can take much longer to dry than synthetic carpets. They are denser and require more cleaning chemicals when neglected. To expedite the drying process, we use professional-grade fans. Depending on the size of the job, we may clean the rugs first and use professional-grade air movers while cleaning the rest of your home. If we are only cleaning the rugs, we may leave an air mover overnight to ensure complete drying.

To ensure transparency, we start by cleaning a small test area and then show you the results. This allows us to discuss your expectations for the rest of the job. If you’re not satisfied, we can stop and re-evaluate. We believe in open communication, so we’ll keep you updated throughout the cleaning process.

  • PLEASE, If you have a question, ASK. We love to educate our clients. There is a lot to know about cleaning and maintaining your investment-quality rugs!
